"If
you don't mind going a little out of your way, this hot spot east
of Buffalo has the best barbecue in Western New York. Be it pulled
pork, chicken, ribs, or sausage, it just doesn't get any better
than the slow, wood-smoked delights Greg offers. The dinner menu
includes the chicken-n-rib combo platter, Southern fried catfish,
and a smoked Polish sausage plate. Add a good beer or a bottle of
wine and you'll see why so many make the trip to this neck of the
woods."

"Enjoyed
good slow smoked pulled pork sandwich with hickory baked beans and
slaw on the side. It was excellent! Service was also good, enjoyed
listening to the Blues Music too! The owner, Greg, even asked us
how everything was!"

"OK,
let's get one thing out of the way. Kentucky Greg's is not a fancy
place. Don't know what it was in a previous incarnation, but it
wasn't fancy either. Think plastic top tables. Get over the fact
that the sides for the BBQ platters are served in styrofoam cups.
On the Friday we went, good blues were playing on the sound system.
The food is why you go here."

"If
barbeque in Western New York needed a poster child, it would be
Greg Engelhardt. Greg is the real deal -- a soft-spoken, Southern
gentleman with a passion for barbeque. He was born in Texas but
grew up in Paducah, Kentucky, where barbeque was as much of a part
of growing up as going to school."
